What you will do:

As our Health Information Assistant, you will have responsibility for the initiation, maintenance and filing of resident records in the facility, reporting to the Health Information Director

Must haves:

• Experience in medical records
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and be discreet
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Would be great:

• 1-2 years’ experience as Medical Records Assistant in Skilled Nursing environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Accredited Records Technician certification
• Experience with PointClickCare

Compensation for roles at Windsor Elmhaven Care Center varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by state or local law, Windsor Elmhaven Care Center provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Windsor Elmhaven Care Center reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, as stated below:

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
